Description:

We are delighted to have completed the first phase of our Southern facilities management contract.

Working for a prime contractor, SSH were sub-contracted to carry out the fit-out of 26 administration buildings throughout the South East of England.

Many of the buildings were in very poor condition and following structural remediation works by the prime contractor. SSH then stripped- out and replaced flooring, skirting,  plaster, doors, ironmongery, windows, ceilings, insulation, electrical goods and fittings, carpet, vinyl and hard flooring.

Work scope: Plan, estimate, quote, client liaison, project management and process control, procurement, specialist trade labour supply and management, supervision, snagging, sign-off.

In addition SSH were called upon to manage the overgrown landscaping. We also removed a large number of tree and shrub roots that had encroached upon structures and walkways.

The original projects (phase 1) were completed on-time and to specification. The budget increased as additional jobs were allocated to SSH throughout the project term.

We are pleased to announce that we have commenced work for the second phase.
